Welcome to the new posts on preserves

2011-08-18 09.41.03

There may be a huge number of food blogs to follow, but here is one that is totally devoted to all the amazing foods to be preserved and enjoyed.

From the same stock as my late aunt Beryl, author of Let’s Preserve It, I shall also endeavour to seek out and offer up advice on the growing and sourcing of produce, the preparation and preserving, on the how to and where to go about it and, mainly, how to enjoy and have fun mastering some wonderful and new combinations.

These posts, some of which previously appeared on Facebook, can now be read on both on this website and also Facebook. Alternatively, you can just complete the box on the right to subscribe and have these sent to you by email.

So wherever you are – in rural settings or city homes, northern or southern hemispheres, east or west, enjoy making your preserves and I would love to hear from you and always welcome your comments.
