Let's Preserve It Cookery Book by Beryl Wood The book that Nigella Lawson turns to for jam recipes - the classic book of jam, preserve and chutney recipes, revised and updated featuring a foreword by Rose Prince.

Beryl Wood is the author of Let’s Preserve It - 579 recipes for preserving fruits and vegetables and making jams, jellies, chutneys, pickles and fruit butters and cheeses.

This unique and comprehensive recipe book revives the art of making jams, jellies, pickles and chutneys, and celebrates the joys of transforming a surfeit of anything - from apples to whortleberries - into jars full of homemade preserves.

It was first published in 1970 and was a great success during her life time until she died in 1979.

Nearly forty years later the book was mentioned by Nigella Lawson on her television programme and Beryl's niece sought to have it republished.

In August 2011 it was republished by Square Peg a division of Random House.

This website has been set up by her niece and is about Beryl Wood and the writing of Let's Preserve It.

Let's Preserve It is available to buy on line now in either Hardbook or ebook format.
